“Help.”

 

The brief

To start with the job was to bring my content, advertising and strategy background and apply it wherever made sense (mainly on creative, content and CRM). That’s what happens when a business grows as fast as Deliveroo did – you strap yourself in, forget what your title says and do what you can with what you’ve got.

Even so, I started off as a consultant, went perm as the Head of Content and left as the Creative Director, managing our social, content and creative teams.

There’s no good place to start or end with my work at Deliveroo.

We rebranded, did more out of home campaigns than I can count, worked on projects for our 12 territories, created the name and brand for Deliveroo Editions and made a TV ad faster and more cheaply than most of the agencies we spoke to said was possible.

We made a fair bit of video content too
