The brief
To start with the job was to bring my content, advertising and strategy background and apply it wherever made sense (mainly on creative, content and CRM). That’s what happens when a business grows as fast as Deliveroo did – you strap yourself in, forget what your title says and do what you can with what you’ve got.
Even so, I started off as a consultant, went perm as the Head of Content and left as the Creative Director, managing our social, content and creative teams.
